Microsoft Stock Jumps Following Acquisition of Video Game Activision Blizzard

First American News LLC, Raleigh NC: Electronic Arts, Ubisoft shares rise following the disclosure of the planned deal. Investors piled into videogame stocks Tuesday after Microsoft Corp. said it plans to acquire Activision Blizzard Inc.

Shares of Electronic Arts Inc. added 4.5% to $136.34, on pace for its biggest daily jump since April 2020. U.S.-listed shares of Ubisoft Entertainment SA and Nintendo Co. Ltd. also joined, said Gaby Mendoza of MB Daily News.
